The Arashi photobook, Time DVD and Arashi Dream Alive CD are additions to our Arashi debt list, hehe!)The first thing that is keeping me sane (haha! yeah right!) is the new Japanese series Zettai Kareshi. I know I mentioned it in my previous post but I just luuuuuurve the series!! I'm dl-ing the 3rd installment as I type and I just can't wait (neither could my non fangirl officemate. I got her hooked on it too! lol!). Wah!! The image of Night-o dancing......... gah! dang! why is the net so slow?
Anyway, my cousin Pia who just came back from the Land of the Rising Sun knew how addicted I was to the show (and the 2 hotties in it) so she gave me this magazine (i think it's called Myojo) that had like all the hotties I have been crushing on. So I'm gonna share a couple of them:
worldawaits was also kind enough to give me a Potato magazine that had (yipee!) Kanjani8 on the cover!! Unfortunately, I haven't scanned it yet but it was amazing as well since almost all the boys in the JE universe could be found in the pages. And the Eito pics in it are lurve....So needless to say, I have been a happy fangirl. I have welcomed them into our magic baul ~~~~~ Okaeri~~~~

krazeekaytee and my cousin Pia told me that Hiro's ( Mizushima Hiro) new series, Zettai Kareshi, has already been airing in Japan. Both of em know I have this huge crush on Hiro since I watched him on Hana Kimi.When I found the first ep, I almost freaked because dang! It was 700 mb. I was hesitant to get it but was persuaded by the thought of missing Hiro's series.
Cut to 4:30 PM yesterday..................
OMG!!!!! I just finished watching the first ep . Gah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It has 2 of the hottest Japanese actors ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And the story is not bad so it's a win-win situation.

The story is about a girl, who in her search for a boyfriend, was given the opportunity by a robot company to test their latest invention, the perfect boyfriend. With inputs from a questionnaire she answered, as well as a picture of her preferred face, the robot is absolutely perfect.
I haven't felt this way for a series since Hana Kimi, where I just couldn't wait for it to air every week. Imagine Mizushima Hiro (Nanba Senpai in Hana Kimi) and Hayami Mokomichi (Tsuchi on Gokusen 2) together in 1 series!! Gah! They are both so hot!!! waaaaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh!!!!
I have a feeling this will have the popularity of Hana Kimi. I hope it does!!!! And good news!! Episode 2 is already out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I admit I haven't been much of a 신화 fan lately (blame/thank
krazeekayteeand JE for that) but their song Run is hard not to like. It has a great beat to it (I can so totally imagine them performing this). I remember when I first heard Brand New I was like 0__o whoa~~~!!! This song rocks! Then I imagine all the fireworks exploding and them jumping out of the floor. Run is like that but it has a bit of Oh in it. Kind of an urban-ish feel with its bassline. Whenever I hear it, I just wanna dance haha!! I sooooo want to see them perform this. I wonder if they will be able to perform it like it is or will they do a remix since I think the refrains are kind of hard to do live. Oh well, if anyone can do it, I'm sure 신화 can do it. And I just wanna say that M's vocals has so vastly improved. He keeps getting better all the time! Dang!! 혜성 better watch his back haha!! But for the life of me, I couldn't figure out what part Junjin was singing or rapping. I think I need to sharpen my 신화 listening skills again. ( Shinhwa )
Though 팀 released his album last year, this is only the 2nd song that he is actively promoting (I know his song Wish List was used as a theme song for the movie Mr. Magorium's Emporium in Korea but I haven't seen any performance for it) from the album.And you know how usual it is for artists to change their image if they have a new album? 팀 did this for the song 내안의 전쟁 and I must say I love it. Usually, 팀 is associated to ballads, along the lines of 성시경 and 이루's kind of music, but after listening to 내안의 전쟁, it was different! It had an R&B type of vibe and he was even doing dance moves to this song!

And yeah I know he won't be able to hold a torch to the other singing gasoos but this is quite a big step and I am so proud of him!! And finally, we have 에픽하이's One. What can I say? Just like Fan and Love, Love, Love, I'm pretty sure it's gonna head to the top of the charts. Heck! Even before it was officially released, it was the most searched (and downloaded) song!!! And is it just me and I know that Tablo isn't much of a singer, but I love it whenever he sings the lines in their songs. hehehehe!!! The guys' hair were all great and the concept was interesting (whoever does their videos should receive recognition). Jung Ryu Won looked so pretty in the MV!! I wanna watch them perform this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last Thursday, I went to the grocery to buy dog food. As I was going through the Asian Food section (hehehe! yeah it was a detour from the pet related stuff), I saw the korean version of Pan Ko, which I have seen Sakurai Sho use in an MMA ep. Since it was only around P50, I bought it and started mulling over what was in the fridge at home that I can use it on. When I remembered that chillin_fireys still had tiger prawns in the freezer, I decided to make shrimp furai for dinner the next day.
Actually, I wasn't sure how to cook shrimp furai. I mean I already knew what I planned to do with my ingredients, but I wasnt sure if what I had planned could be considered as shrimp furai. I wanted to make Shrimp tempura but I didn't know how to make the sauce. When I googled up the ingredients for the tempura sauce, I realized that I wouldn't be able to make the dinner since I'd have to buy the Dashi and Mirin. So after more googling, I learned that what I planned to cook was indeed furai. hahaha!!
Anyway, it was pretty easy to do, albeit a bit messy but the finished product tasted good, if I do say so myself. And we used the Japanese mayo as the sauce (we use it for all things fried in the house) and it tasted even better! wahaha!! Success!!!

Minna, meet my new fixation: Kanjani∞. Actually it wasn't Ryo that baited me to em. I first "discovered" the crazy Eito (well 7 na lang) when I watched the Johnny's New Year Countdown con 2007-2008 last Jan (actually, now I love most of the Johnny's groups after that concert). I was drawn to the their lurid colored suits and their baka-ness (reminded me so much of Aiba). Then I realized that Ryo was also a part of it and I figured hmmmm.... interesting. So I started watching stuff about them on youtube and voila!!! I've been sucked in further into the JE universe. sheesh!
And I just want to share the Eito vid that I always show first to those who do not know them. Prepare yourself for the gaudy costumes, the gay-ish dance moves, and the shorts that expose the bright legs of these Kansai Boys.

Last December 27, 2007, after attending a friends' wedding, I suddenly felt the urge to try and request for a Fly to the Sky song. Since I wasn't able to buy the latest album of the group due to lack of funds (blame 嵐 Arashi and
krazeekayteefor it), i figured I'd request a vid from their latest album.Fast forward to February 2008. My friend and I were supposed to go outside for a cig break when the security guard of the building asks my friend if she knows someone by the name of Uchi Santos. My friend pointed to me and I was like "huh?" The guard then gave me this brown envelope that made my heart drop.

And Ryo made an appearance!!!!! haha! he looked and sounded so giddy. Too bad I had no idea what everyone on the show was talking about. Have to wait for the subbed version.
Riida was a riot. In the part where he almosts jumps up and down in order to be seen behind Aiba, he was facing the other way.
They performed Step and Go and Happiness. Yay for the confetti in Step & Go!!! Reminded me of when they performed Love So Sweet in the Dome con. Then after it was scattered they had a wind machine blow it away. The effect was so nice~~~~~~~~~ Wah!!!! Like a dream (hehe! Arashi, arashi for dream~~). And they did the solo parts!! Just like when they performed Love so Sweet there last year!! I just love SCP performances.
Another yay for Nino who wasn't wearing a sleeveless shirt for Happiness. hehehehehe!!
Finished listening to the Music Box CD. Wah!! So nice!!!! Listen to it!!! Promise~~~~~~ Pwede na iparinig sa mga baby!! Start 'em young!!! Instead of letting them listen to classical music, let em listen to the Music Box CD. They'll be the next members of a Johnny's Idol Group!!! hahahahaha!!
I also wanna congratulate my shobe, Kikka, for being the Rookie of the Year in the 2008 South Rowan High Awards for Swimming!! Way to go!!!!! We are so proud of you~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Thank God for these events. At least my week didn't end too shabbily (TARA2 made me cry!!!). I don't want to go into detail. It just breaks my heart.

Still on TARA2 (somewhat), I was reading Philippine Star this morning and in the Jennifer Ong's column in Young Star about the Nivea event, I was pleasantly surprised to see this:

As I have said in a past entry, I am such a huge fan of TARA2 and I really believe that Marc and Rovilson have a great chance of bagging the entire thing. Although I think Adrian and Collin (the Singapore team) are worthy adversaries, of course I'd a rather a "pinoy" team cross the finish line first.
Anyway, I've noticed that AXN has been airing a lot of ads that have the contenders of the show featured in em. Like, Paula & Natasha being cheered on by a Thai Beer company and Brett & Kinar being cheered on by Indosat. Then I saw this Sony ad that featured Vanessa. And it was like a real ad that centered on her and her Sony gadget. Then near the end, guess who makes a cameo int? Rovilson! And they were acting like a couple in it. My sisters and I start speculating that they probably hooked up because why on earth would they be in the ad together? After all, they are from different teams and its not like there are any other ads that have members of different teams in em. Hmmmm.... I start replaying some of the episodes in my mind and realize that in 1 ep, Marc and Rovilson were saying that they were keeping their eye on the prize then they wave to Vanessa's team and say "Hi prize!" hmmmmmmm.....................
Then just today, I was reading a tabloid (haha!! my lunchtime reading is composed of tabloids) and I read an article that mentioned that Marc and Rovilson took part in a Nivea adventure event and that their girlfriends joined too!!! Turns out Marc is dating Paula and Rovilson is dating Vanessa. As to how accurate the news is, I don't know. But I wouldn't be too surprised if it were true.
For those not familiar with the girls, here are photos of em with their teammates, which I snagged form AXN's site. Just so its easier to figure out who is dating whom.
Hehe!! Leave it to these guys to end up with the prettiest girls if the season.

OMG!!!! I was speechless!!! The name of the guy, his mobile numbers, business numbers and even his address (both office and his "pad) are listed in the flyer (I sorta removed the specifics coz I don't want to hurt the guy or his friends & family in case they happen to chance upon this LJ). The flyer smells like revenge to me. The guy must have done really bad things to someone to merit this kind of revenge. Very Samantha-ish (Sex and the City).

Yeah this post is crap.

halcyonchill, chillin_fireys, pretty_j, Ilai, and I went to Megamall for some last minute Christmas shopping. Since we left the house right after our K-class (which usually ends at 12 noon), we were naturally famished when we arrived at the mall. We all decided to try Bubble Tea, this Japanese restaurant/cafe that my cousins have been telling us to try. I promptly ordered the Paella Omurice that I had been eyeing since the day before (yes, I was at Megamall twice last week. Amazing since I detest going there because of the horrible parking and all the crowds that seem to inhabit the place). I could hardly contain my excitement. I even pretended that the 嵐 boys prepared it for me (yeah I have been watching too much Mago Mago Arashi or was it an episode of Arashi no Shukudaikun?). Though the food tok a bit long, the bubble tea arrved quite promptly.
Unfortunately, I'm not a big fan of milk tea so I just ended up looking at 'em. hehehehehe!!
But when my Omurice arrived...............
I swear, I could hear MatsuJun saying "Mechaa umaii~~" somewhere in the background. And it was good~~~ yummy, yummy, yummy!!! Though it had just 1 piece of shrimp (but what the heck, the picture in the menu only had 1 too!), I wasn't disappointed. Why must it be in Megamall? Now I have to tek all the way there to sample the other stuff on the menu. T.T
